New England fought to the very last minute to get a 2-1 win over Kansas City.

After conceding 31 minutes into the game and loosing Rosell due to a red card in the 48th minutue, Johnny Russell came to the rescue. Russell scored on a set-piece to tie the game and give Kansas City a chance to defend their home turf. Hope was all but lost till the 87th minute when New England were able to steal three crucial away points.
